Description

Mapfre Re seeks to hire a technical professional to participate in the design and development of the company's CORE system modules, applying a Cloud Native approach. Candidates will have the opportunity to join a cutting-edge technological project, leveraging modern technologies and an event-driven architecture. The candidate will participate, as part of Mapfre Re’s ongoing Transformation Plan, in migrating the core business application to the cloud through the creation of Product Teams. They will join a Product Team and contribute to the analysis, design, development, and subsequent operation of the solution. Their responsibilities will include both analysis and development activities, such as functional programming and subsequent maintenance. We are seeking innovative and highly motivated individuals with strong learning capabilities and adaptability to change, who can contribute to novel projects requiring out-of-the-box problem-solving approaches. **RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------- * Joining the Product Team responsible for the company's core tool. * Business Domain Design using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. * Implementation and development of the solution using microservices- and event-based technologies. * Design and implementation of cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS). **REQUIREMENTS** -------------- * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. * **Language proficiency:** C1 level English. * **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years developing Cloud solutions under reference architectures (e.g., MAR 2\.0 or similar). * **Technical knowledge:** The following competencies are valued: * + Business domain knowledge in insurance or reinsurance sectors. + Structured and object-oriented programming: Java, Python. + Agile methodology: SCRUM. + Development framework: Spring Boot. + HTML5, CSS3, Angular. + Additional desirable skills include: * + - * Event-driven architecture, DevOps, Microservices, CI/CD. * API / RESTful Services / Web Services design. * Databases: MongoDB, S3, Snowflake, Oracle. * Messaging/streaming tools: Kafka. * Containerization: Docker/Kubernetes. * Experience with cloud projects in AWS or Azure environments. * **Competencies:** Innovation, creativity, adaptability to change, and self-learning.
