Backed by over 60,000 professionals across 55+ countries and a robust Nearshore model, we connect global capabilities with local trust to deliver real impact, sustainable growth, and high-value outcomes for our clients. **We are looking for: Senior Data Engineer AWS** **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and platforms using AWS services. * Build and evolve data architectures such as data lake, lakehouse, or data mesh. * Develop end-to-end data solutions, including reusable frameworks—not just individual pipelines. * Actively collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and DevOps professionals to deliver high-value business solutions. * Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and information management policies. * Lead resolution of data-related incidents and participate in change management processes, demonstrating ownership of projects from inception through delivery. **Requirements:** **Mandatory:** * Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Cloud environments. * Strong expertise in Spark (Scala), Python, and SQL. * Proven experience with AWS, especially S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, and Lambda. * In-depth knowledge of ETL design and data modeling. * Ability to understand end-to-end processes and make appropriate technical decisions based on context. * Analytical thinking oriented toward identifying edge cases and future scalability challenges. * University degree in technology-related fields, preferably Computer Engineering or similar. * Advanced English proficiency **Desirable:** * Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions. * Knowledge of Apache Iceberg or other analytical table formats. * Experience with data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations or Deequ. * Familiarity with Bash and HCL. **We Offer** * Permanent contract with competitive salary * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Personalized career path and continuous training * Participation in stable projects with strong technical components * Flexible working hours and focus on work-life balance * Social benefits tailored to your needs We invite you to get to know us at NEORIS, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram: @NEORIS. \#LI\-CF1
