If you’re passionate about data, **join SDG Group!** **What will be your mission?** * You will be responsible for **end-to-end project development and execution**, leading a team and ensuring all project phases—from requirements gathering to production deployment—are fulfilled. This includes: **technical-functional specification, ETL development and data modeling, visualization.** * Participate in the development of end-to-end data engineering solutions—from problem understanding and business objectives to fully productive data systems. * Serve as the technical reference for processes and architectures developed during design phases. * Participate in **functional definition and analysis in collaboration with the client**, ensuring solutions tailored to their needs. * Work daily with on-premise or cloud tools—ingesting, modeling, and transforming data—while applying sound data engineering practices within the team. * Be responsible for **internal and external training on tools relevant to the team**, identifying necessary trainings and certifications for team growth. * Stay up to date on the latest **technological trends**, with special emphasis on **Data & Analytics**, particularly cloud platforms, orchestration tools, and modern data architectures. * Integrate into the **SDG culture and its working unit**, contributing to a collaborative and efficient environment. * Participate in the company’s and team’s **daily dynamics.** **What will make you succeed in this role?** * **Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or an Advanced Vocational Training Cycle** (or equivalent). * Additional training in Big Data, cloud data architectures, or related disciplines is valued. * At least **4 years of experience as a Data Engineer**, implementing and operationalizing data ingestion and transformation solutions using on-premise or cloud tools. * Prior experience in **consulting environments**, with ability to understand client dynamics and needs, is highly desirable. * **Strong communication, analytical, and business-oriented skills**, enabling understanding of project context and support for client decision-making. A proactive and participative attitude is essential. * Demonstrated capabilities and experience in **project management, teamwork, and adaptability to changing environments.** * Solid knowledge of **Data & Analytics technologies**, with proven experience in **SQL and ETL technologies.** * **Knowledge of data modeling, with particular emphasis on adaptation to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google).** * Familiarity with at least one Data Cloud platform: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and/or Fabric. * Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or similar is desirable. * Knowledge of data integration tools such as dbt, Talend, etc., is desirable. * Familiarity with code management methodologies is desirable. * As we operate in a global environment, **proficiency in English is a plus!** **What makes us different?** **Technology and data are our essence.** We don’t just work with the latest market offerings—we’ll train you to master the most innovative tools.
