DESCRIPTION **Would you like to become the communications subject-matter expert for a financial-sector company, operating within a critical and stable technological environment?** We are seeking a Network and Communications Technician to join a strategic project alongside the on-site team of a major financial-sector client in Madrid (Chamartín\-Nuevos Ministerios). THE PROJECT You will join a project at a company in the **financial / investment sector**, where you will assume full responsibility for the **networks and communications environment**, ensuring its availability, security, and evolution. The position is **100% on-site**, based in Madrid offices located in the **Nuevos Ministerios** area. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE? * Administer and monitor networks and communications systems. * Configure, supervise, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi\-Fi). * Manage communications and telecommunications incidents. * Document infrastructure and communications systems. * Implement and maintain network security policies. * Manage communications service providers (activations, renewals, monitoring). * Manage inventory of related IT resources. * Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations (DORA). WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Education in **Computer Science, Systems, or Communications** (Vocational Training or University Degree). * **2\-3 years** of experience in networks and communications environments. * Solid knowledge of: * Switching and routing. * Firewalls. * Data networks and telecommunications. * **B2 level English**. * Advanced **Office suite proficiency**. * An organized, solution-oriented individual with planning ability and decision-making skills. ADDITIONAL ASSETS (PREFERRED) * Experience in regulated or critical environments. * Interaction with technology vendors. * Interest in staying up-to-date with ICT developments.
