Our focus on innovation and sustainability drives technological development and contributes to building a more efficient and sustainable future. **WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN THIS ROLE** Lead WebGIS software development projects, coordinating the creation of applications that consume and integrate pre-existing geographic services. This is not a position focused on producing cartography, performing geospatial analysis, or developing remote sensing projects. Your role will be tied to project management and the integration of GIS services within portals, viewers, and web applications. On a day-to-day basis, you will: * Plan projects by defining scope, phases, milestones, resources, and deliverables. * Organize and assign team tasks, facilitating coordination among development, GIS, design, and other involved disciplines. * Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring project requirements are translated into clear, actionable tasks. * Gather, analyze, and transform client requirements into functional and technically viable solutions. * Coordinate projects related to WebGIS applications, viewers, portals, and custom developments integrating maps, layers, and geographic services. * Monitor progress, deadlines, and outcomes, anticipating risks and proposing corrective actions when necessary. * Verify that deliverables meet agreed functional, technical, and quality requirements. * Prepare functional and management documentation associated with each project. * Maintain fluid communication with clients, supporting them throughout the various project phases. * Prepare presentations, demonstrators, and follow-up sessions to clearly showcase progress and results. * Analyze tender documents and participate in preparing and drafting technical proposals and bids, especially for the public sector. **KEYS TO ENJOYING AND GROWING IN THIS CHALLENGE** **Education** We especially value degrees in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Development, or similar technological fields, as they facilitate understanding of architectures, integrations, and technical decisions present in our projects. Other degrees may also be suitable if accompanied by a solid track record in managing software development and GIS solution projects. **Experience** It will be important that you bring at least three years of experience managing software development projects, preferably related to web applications, portals, GIS viewers, or custom technological solutions. To operate autonomously, you will need experience in: * Planning, organizing, and monitoring software projects. * Coordinating technical teams and assigning tasks. * Eliciting and analyzing functional requirements. * Monitoring scope, deadlines, deliverables, and quality. * Direct client interaction. Preparing functional and project documentation. * **Software and WebGIS Solution Development** You will not be required to program daily, but you must understand how the solutions you manage are built and integrated. Therefore, relevant experience includes: * Experience in developing web applications, portals, viewers, or custom digital solutions. * Functional knowledge of software development architectures and technologies, sufficient to coordinate technical teams and participate in project decision-making. * Understanding of GIS service integration into web applications via APIs, REST services, maps, layers, and geoprocessing. * Knowledge of WebGIS application functionality and the relationship among GIS components, frontend, and backend. * Experience using project planning, tracking, and management tools. Knowledge of functional analysis and design tools and techniques. * **Project Management** You will work with **Scrum** as the agile methodology to organize and prioritize tasks, coordinate the team, and deliver incrementally. For project planning and tracking, you will use **Easy Redmine**. Practical experience working with Scrum and project management tools will be important. Certifications such as **PMP, Scrum Manager, Scrum Master, PSM, CSM, PMI\-ACP**, or equivalents will be valued. **English** Proficiency in English—both spoken and written—will be positively considered, especially for consulting technical documentation or collaborating on international projects. Analyzing tender documents, preparing technical reports, and preparing bids. * Your analytical ability will help you translate complex needs into concrete solutions.
