Data Science Internship (Scoring and Modeling Area)

We are looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to join our Data Scientists team within the Scoring and Modeling Area. In this role, you will work under guidance and supervision, directly collaborating on real-world projects with significant business impact. You will learn and collaborate across the entire data and modeling lifecycle, performing the following tasks: Data Management and Preparation: Accessing the company’s various databases to run queries and extract data using SQL. Analyzing data quality, cleaning data, and imputing missing values and outliers. Processing, preparing, and performing feature engineering on variables for consumption by the Risk Area. Modeling and Advanced Analytics: Collaborating to select the most appropriate strategy and algorithm family based on the business problem to be solved. Implementing code snippets for models. Production Deployment and Monitoring: Managing IT requests for deployment and production rollout of the final solution. Monitoring the performance of already-deployed models. Business and Team Support: Executing key processes supporting decision-making in the Risk Area. Actively participating in team meetings. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications…), Physics, Quantitative Economics, or related dual degrees. Proficiency in programming languages for data analysis, with Python and PySpark preferred. Knowledge of databases and SQL.
