Position Summary: Cook for a residential center for minors, responsible for the preparation and cooking of nutritional menus, inventory management, and kitchen maintenance. Key Points: 1. Menu preparation following nutritional guidelines 2. Comprehensive kitchen and utensils management 3. Assessment of experience working with groups and personal skills **Position Definition:** Cook for a residential center for minors **Job Functions and Responsibilities:** · Preparation of menus within established timeframes and schedules · Preparation of menus designed and approved by a licensed nutritionist, adhering to scheduled meal times, paying special attention to specified portion sizes and using prescribed ingredients. · Meal preparation · Plating per dining area · Weekly order reception · Distribution of goods into freezers and weekly planning (freezer to refrigerator) · APPS recordkeeping · Cleaning of the work area · Ecological resource management (water, electricity, waste recycling, etc.) · Organization and maintenance of kitchen utensils · Stocking and menu preparation according to seasonal foods · Compliance with proper hygiene practices in attire: apron, gloves, and cap **Required Education and Experience to Perform the Functions:** · Qualification in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management and/or Compulsory Secondary Education Diploma · Food Handler’s Certificate · Prior experience in a similar position will be valued · Experience working in dining facilities serving groups (40 people) **Skills, Aptitudes, and Attitudes Required for the Position:** · Ability to interact appropriately with minors · Punctuality · Responsibility · Personal organization and a positive attitude when undertaking new tasks · Cleanliness in task execution **Other Requirements (IT skills, driver’s license, languages, etc.):** · Possession of Driver’s License B1 will be considered favorably **Interdependencies:** · Center Deputy Director **Contract Type:** · Temporary – Replacement for Sick Leave (IT) **Working Hours:** 28 hours per week **Schedule/Shift:** Monday through Sunday, with rest periods as stipulated by law, and shifts distributed according to service needs. **Start Date:** 16/02/2026 **Compensation and Other Benefits:** Base salary according to the Fifth State Collective Agreement for Juvenile Reform and Minor Protection *FSC applies an equal opportunity policy regardless of gender (identity, expression), affective-sexual orientation, functional diversity, and positive discrimination toward individuals at risk of social exclusion.* Position Type: Temporary Contract Salary: €16,000.00–€17,000.00 per year Work Location: On-site employment
