We are an organization that, since 2001, has been committedly and innovatively delivering care, services, and socio-emotional support to the individuals we serve. From the Association Centre d’Acollida Assís, we are seeking a Social Educator to join the team of our Day Center. This space aims to provide collective services addressing basic needs (showers, food, health services, etc.) while ensuring shelter, protection, safety, and socio-educational accompaniment. Its primary objective is to deliver person-centered accompaniment, attending to all dimensions of each individual and promoting participation in their social integration and vital recovery processes. We aim to create a safe meeting point—perceived as safe—where individuals do not arrive at a place with "slots" but rather at a welcoming space where they can access: * A space to be and to appropriate * A relational space * Socio-educational and psychosocial accompaniment * A space to carry out activities and occupational proposals * A health support space * A socio-laboral integration support space **Responsibilities** Establish positive relationships with individuals served at the day center to enable social accompaniment focused on empowerment and fostering personal autonomy Provide accompaniment in identifying and expressing needs through respectful, non-invasive support grounded in relationship, affection, and proximity—and in close coordination with other professionals within the service Channel requests by coordinating required internal and/or external resources and professionals Provide socio-educational accompaniment Provide support, when required, in tasks and/or administrative procedures related to their processes Facilitate sports activities organized by Assís Support the delivery of the day center’s basic services Provide accompaniment and guidance in self-organization and in establishing activities within collective and community contexts Mediation and crisis or conflict management Internal coordination/referral with the multidisciplinary team and with external professionals from various resources and services Participate in monitoring, evaluation, and management of the project Prepare reports and documentation related to the project (including maintenance of databases) Participate in representation forums Attend team meetings Contribute to program development: specific accompaniment methodology, integration of gender perspective, impact assessment, etc. **We Offer** * Permanent contract under the Social Action Collective Agreement for children, youth, families, and others at risk * 38-hour weekly schedule with immediate start * Morning shifts Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00–15:30, plus one rotating Saturday morning per month * Salary: €25,900 gross annually (salary pending 2025 update) * Positive work environment within an association committed to its mission * Up to 30 hours of continuous professional training to be completed during the year **Profile:** Qualification as a Social Educator Experience in accompaniment in situations of social vulnerability, preferably with people experiencing homelessness (minimum 2 years) Additional training in areas such as street outreach, gender, mental health, problematic substance use, etc., will be valued Experience facilitating activities (sports, outings, etc.) Experience in mental health will be valued Experience in supporting individuals with problematic substance use will be valued Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
