Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to strengthen data exploitation and quality in fraud detection and prevention, as well as operational fraud investigation in claims. Key Highlights: 1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Process fraud-impacted data using statistical methods. Conduct preliminary analyses to detect fraud patterns based on claims experience, through use case identification. Interpret results, identifying process and data strategy improvement opportunities. Prepare reports and dashboards. Analyze and monitor Fraud KPIs, and define the optimal technological solution to meet requirements. Identify trends and patterns in the data. Evolve developed models based on newly identified variables. Collaborate with fraud investigators, data scientists, IT, and business stakeholders—leading data extractions, quality controls, normalization, data source integration, and exploratory analyses that translate into actionable insights for fraud prevention, detection, and quantification. REQUIREMENTS Required Qualification – Bachelor’s degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Criminology or related field). Professional Experience – Minimum one year of experience in the insurance sector, focused on fraud investigation; or at least one year of experience in data exploitation (extraction, analysis, reporting, dashboards, and conclusions). Knowledge Proficiency in data analysis tools. **Proficiency in relational database management (SQL):** joins, subqueries, aggregations, and basic tuning. Understanding of data modeling (entities/relationships, keys, basic normalization). **Proficiency in Python for data analysis:** pandas/numpy, file reading/writing, validations, logging, error handling, and small automation scripts. Knowledge of the insurance industry. Knowledge of fraud analytics and statistics. Ability to prepare reports and dashboards. Office Software – Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (advanced level). English – Intermediate COMPETENCIES Strong learning ability Creativity Effective communicator with business acumen.
