Job Opening – Senior Financial Controller (Freelance) **The Hague \| Hybrid \| 16\-24 hours per week** About YOUNG Hospitality Holding YOUNG Hospitality Holding is responsible for a growing portfolio of hospitality concepts across various locations in the Netherlands. Due to our expansion, we are seeking an experienced finance professional who can provide structure between operations, management, and our external accountant. You are neither a CFO nor an accountant. You are the person who ensures that all financial processes run smoothly and that everyone has access to the correct information. https://young\-hospitality.com/ **What will you do?** You are the financial hub connecting management, administration, and the accountant. Your responsibilities include, among others: * Coordinating financial administration. * Monitoring the quality of bookkeeping. * Preparing and reviewing VAT returns. * Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. * Preparing the annual financial statements together with the accountant. * Monitoring financial deadlines. * Acting as the main contact for the external accountant. * Supporting management reporting. * Reviewing payments and financial processes. * Identifying risks and improvement opportunities. * Optimizing administrative processes. * Ensuring sound financial governance within the holding. * Supporting new locations and expansions from a financial perspective. **Who are we looking for?** You are someone who enjoys bringing order to a dynamic organization. **In addition, you possess:** * HBO or university-level work and thinking ability. * Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience. * Experience in financial administration and reporting. * Solid knowledge of Dutch VAT and annual financial statement processes. * Experience with Exact Online is a plus. * You work independently, accurately, and pragmatically. * You communicate easily with both entrepreneurs and accountants. * You think in solutions and value structure. **What do we offer?** + An independent freelance assignment. + 16\-24 hours per week (hybrid). + Significant autonomy and responsibility. + An organization where you truly make an impact. + Direct collaboration with management and external accountants. + A role in which you can further professionalize the financial organization.
