Would you like to join a technology project with social impact and contribute to the evolution of a platform currently undergoing rapid growth and international expansion? We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who wants to take on a key role in evolving our architecture and bring technical expertise to the Engineering team. **What will be your challenge?** ----------------------- You will join a 6-person Engineering team and report directly to the CTO. Your main responsibilities will include: * Participating in the platform's evolution by progressively migrating from a hybrid AWS configuration to a serverless architecture. * Designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS. * Implementing event-driven architectures and services on AWS, seeking modular, resilient, and cost-efficient solutions. * Designing, integrating, and optimizing data models and data flows using MySQL and DynamoDB. * Designing data schemas and optimizing queries to ensure performance and scalability. * Applying development best practices through code reviews, automated testing, and quality standards. * Collaborating with the team in Agile/Scrum environments. * Sharing technical knowledge and mentoring other developers on the team. **What do we require?** --------------------- Mandatory requirements: * University degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * 5\+ years of backend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript. * Solid experience with Node.js and NestJS. * Experience working with AWS serverless architectures, especially Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS. * Proficiency in MySQL and SQL, plus knowledge of T\-SQL (Transact\-SQL). * Experience with NoSQL databases, especially DynamoDB. * Experience designing data schemas and optimizing queries. * Knowledge of DevOps best practices and CI/CD. * Conversational level of Spanish and English. * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
