We seek someone who brings deep technical expertise, decision-making capability, and robustness to operate and evolve critical environments for our clients. The position is based in Spain under a hybrid work model, combining remote and office-based work. Residency in Spain and valid work authorization in Spain are mandatory. **Responsibilities** ------------- * Administer and maintain **IMS environments on z/OS**, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. * Manage configuration, monitoring, and incident resolution for **IMS databases** and associated components. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, as well as **software updates and migrations**. * Collaborate with **development, operations, and security teams** to ensure proper integration and functioning of services. * Document procedures, configurations, and changes implemented in IMS environments. * Participate in projects related to **continuous improvement, performance optimization, migrations, or platform modernization**. **Requirements:** --------------- * Proven experience of **at least 5 years** in **IMS administration for z/OS** within mainframe environments. * In-depth knowledge of: + Installation, migration, and maintenance of **IMS and related products**. + **SMPE, JCL, REXX, CLIST**, and automation tools. + **Performance tuning**, management of **buffer pools**, and analysis using tools such as **Omegamon**. * Ability to diagnose and resolve **complex database and performance issues**. * Familiarity with practices for **high availability, security, and disaster recovery**. * Good level of **English** (spoken and written). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of **French** will be considered a plus.
