We are looking for a Junior Systems Administrator for a prestigious educational institution in Catalonia.
Reporting to the Head of Department, you will join the team of technical staff, performing systems administration tasks and other duties required by the department.
REQUIREMENTS
Your profile
You hold a university degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Engineering) in Computer Science or Telecommunications, or a CFGS in Systems Administration.
You have experience in:
Linux system administration: DHCP, DNS, Apache, and MySQL servers; installation and maintenance of distributions; bash scripting.
Windows Server system administration: Active Directory, group policies, roles, domain controllers (DCs); installation and maintenance; PowerShell scripting.
Wired and wireless network administration: routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, VLANs, etc.
Basic programming (scripting).
Familiarity with VMware and/or PROXMOX for virtual machine management.

Languages:
Catalan and Spanish (spoken, written, and reading). English at technical and conversational level (reading and speaking).

Your weekly working hours are 37.5, reduced to 35 hours per week during July, with occasional exceptions based on departmental needs.
You will have flexible entry and exit times between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., with a mandatory presence from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on a rotating basis within the department team.
31 days of vacation in August, 9 days at Christmas, and 9 days at Easter (approximate, depending on the annual calendar).
