We work to deliver the best solutions to our clients across these three areas in the 9 countries where we operate. **THE IMPACT YOU WILL GENERATE** Santander Asset Management is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager based in Luca de Tena. Among your responsibilities will be managing and optimizing private banking clients' investment portfolios, delivering personalized financial advice focused on returns, capital preservation, and achieving each client’s wealth objectives — aligned with the bank’s global strategy and applicable regulations. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: * Designing, implementing, and monitoring investment strategies for high-net-worth clients. * Analyzing financial markets, assets, and investment products (equities, fixed income, funds, alternatives, structured products, etc.). * Developing tailored investment proposals aligned with the client’s risk profile, objectives, and time horizon. * Coordinating with product, research, and portfolio management teams to align the global strategy. * Conducting ongoing performance monitoring of portfolios and proposing tactical and strategic adjustments. * Ensuring regulatory compliance (MiFID II, SFDR, etc.) and adherence to sustainability and governance standards (ESG). * Supporting client acquisition and retention alongside private bankers. * Preparing periodic reports and performance presentations for clients and the Investment Committee. **WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM** Our people are our greatest strength. The following requirements represent the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies for this role. **Professional Experience** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in private banking, wealth management, or investment management. (Mandatory) * Experience directly serving high-net-worth clients is valued. (Desirable) **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Economics or Engineering. * Postgraduate studies related to quantitative and/or qualitative finance (CFA, FRM, CESGA, etc.) **Languages** * Spanish and English (Mandatory) **Technical Skills (Hard Skills)** * Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Mandatory) * Bloomberg, Reuters, Python (Desirable) **Interpersonal Skills (Soft Skills)** * Ability and experience managing multidisciplinary and complex teams * In-depth knowledge of financial markets, either as an advisor or portfolio manager * Strong communication and presentation skills * Clear customer orientation **WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT** Your contribution matters — and we recognize it.
