**What are we looking for?** We are seeking a Data Science Specialist who will be responsible for participating in the full lifecycle of our Machine Learning projects and the automation of critical business processes. We seek a candidate with a strong mathematical and technical foundation, fluent in communicating with stakeholders and capable of coordinating technically with external consultants and partners on joint developments. **Responsibilities.** * **ML Project Oversight:** Design, validate, and continuously monitor predictive models. * **Vendor Validation:** Audit developments (Python, SQL) and architectures (GCP) delivered by external consultants to ensure technical milestones and Camper’s objectives are met. * **Communication & Business Alignment:** Translate complex analytical needs into technical solutions and clearly explain results to stakeholders and business teams (e.g., buyers, commercial teams). * **Technological Innovation:** Proactively propose new methodologies, tools, or emerging technologies that add value to the company. **Requirements.** * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of demonstrable prior experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, or end\-to\-end analytical solution development. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or an equivalent quantitative discipline. * **Cross-functional Skills:** Strong communication skills, ability to manage and track projects, capacity to disseminate knowledge, and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset. * **Predictive Modeling:** Practical experience using Neural Networks, Random Forest, Embeddings, and similar algorithms. * **Technical Foundation:** Solid proficiency in Python and SQL. Ability to read third-party code, conduct code reviews, and identify operational improvement opportunities.
