We are currently seeking an **accountant** to join our Spanish subsidiary in Barcelona. **Your mission:** Handle all local accounting operations while ensuring reliable and compliant transmission of financial information to headquarters or the parent company. **Key responsibilities:** * Daily accounting management and support for monthly closing processes * Collaboration on accounting management and tax settlements, including tax filing. Invoice accounting for services and support for ad-hoc inquiries; however, supplier invoices will be processed by another employee. * Monitoring customer collections * Bank accounting (remote connection to JD Edwards software) * Revenue accounting * Daily journal adjustments, including accruals, provisions for pending invoices, and commercial provisions * Settlement of all applicable corporate taxes (Forms 303, 349, 216\-296, Intrastat, Plastic Tax\-Ecoembes, ETE) * Support for preparation of monthly closings * Assistance with matters related to external audits * Preparation of annual accounts (abridged) and submission of official ledgers to the registry * Support to the person responsible for the company’s accounting and tax tasks as required **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (ADE), or equivalent * Experience in a similar role * Proficiency with financial ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP * Teamwork skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and initiative * Proficiency in spoken and written English **We offer:** * **Immediate incorporation** * **Joining an international company** * **Attractive salary \+ benefits (life insurance, health insurance, meal vouchers)** * **Hybrid work (2 days remote)** * **Reduced working hours on Fridays and during July and August** * **Permanent contract** * **Location: Barcelona** Job type: Full-time, Permanent contract Salary: €30\.000,00\-€38\.000,00 per year Benefits: * Reduced summer working hours * Reduced Friday working hours * Life insurance * Private health insurance * Optional remote work * Meal vouchers Work location: On-site employment
