At onLygal, we are looking for a proactive, dynamic, responsible, and service-excellence-oriented individual to join us as a **Claims Handler**. **Job Mission:** To evaluate and process, in accordance with the Company’s regulations and procedures, all inquiries and claims files assigned to the candidate’s area, ensuring the highest quality of service delivered to clients, emphasizing amicable resolution of matters, compliance with coverage terms of the contracted policies, and maximum efficiency—both in time and internal/external costs—for each type of claim until its resolution and closure. **Responsibilities and Functions:** \- Manage and process claims files, providing coverage or declining based on the guarantees stipulated in the contracted policy. \- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legal and/or operational deadlines, and internal procedures. \- Address business providers’ questions or proposals; monitor external professionals’ actions during claims processing; and collaborate with area managers to align such actions. \- Respond to inquiries and questions from brokers or insured parties/claimants regarding benefits, keeping them informed throughout the entire claims process. \- Deliver excellent customer service to ONLYGAL Insurance clients, regardless of channel (telephone, in-person, or written). \- Manage recovery of compensation from opposing insurance companies and third parties. \- Review invoices for reimbursement of covered benefit expenses and prepare subsidy payment proposals. \- Prepare, where applicable, legal feasibility reports for ONLYGAL Legal Services. \- Identify and report potential fraud. **Candidate Profile:** \- Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Administration \- Degree in Law or Master’s in Legal Practice highly valued. \- Minimum 2 years’ experience in claims handling \- Specific knowledge of the insurance sector; experience in Legal Defense particularly valued. \- Proficiency in legal databases and Microsoft Office **What We Offer?** Initial maternity leave replacement contract Fixed annual salary: €22,500 gross Variable salary: €1,600 gross upon achievement of objectives Company benefits: * Meal vouchers for split-shift days: €11.30/day * Flexible compensation (starting from the third month): transport voucher, nursery voucher, and health insurance * Family legal protection insurance * Life insurance Full-time position * Flexible schedule Monday–Thursday: arrival between 8:00–9:00 AM and departure between 5:15–6:15 PM * Intensive Friday schedule: 8:00–9:00 AM to 3:00–4:00 PM * Intensive schedule during summer months Remote work: 50% of weekly time **About Us** onLygal is a specialist insurance company offering legal solutions.
