Therefore, with each new hire, **we seek individuals who share our values and wish to contribute professionally and humanely.** **IMMIGRATION LAWYER** **EXTERNAL REF: 98/2026** **LOCATION: Barcelona (Badalona)** **AREA: Social Action** **PROGRAM: Extraordinary Regularization** **JOB MISSION: Legal Information and Advice on Immigration/Extraordinary Regularization** **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assessment, guidance, and specialized legal support in immigration law and extraordinary regularization, including information and guidance on residence permits, document renewals, family reunification, sanctioning regimes, and filing administrative files when necessary—or, in any case, supporting such filings—as well as any other matters falling under immigration law. * Preparation and delivery of training sessions and group activities aimed at disseminating rights related to the extraordinary regularization process and immigration. * Preparation and, where applicable, submission of administrative appeals and other required documents for processing files until administrative procedures are concluded. * Ongoing legal follow-up and support throughout the entire intervention process. * Coordination with other stakeholders, social agents and services, as well as other competent public administrations in this field. * Development of actions to disseminate rights and duties related to immigration and the extraordinary regularization process. * In judicial proceedings—and wherever legal representation is mandatory—the role shall consist of assessing various options for accessing appropriate free legal services tailored to the user’s needs. * Preparation of projects, reports, and monitoring and final justification reports for the program, as well as other documents in coordination with other professionals. * Data entry and management in program databases or files. * Participation in team coordination meetings, as well as meetings with other departments and programs of the organization. * Strengthening and supporting other professional team members. * Accompanying and supporting program volunteers or interns. * Reporting any incidents arising during the program to the responsible program officer. * As staff of Movimiento por la Paz \-MPDL\-, participation in actions aimed at preventing abuse and harassment, as well as ensuring compliance with and respect for the internal Code of Conduct. **EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:** **CONTRACT TYPE:** Fixed-term contract (temporary due to production circumstances). Immediate start. Professional Group 1 under the State Social Action Collective Agreement. **WORKING HOURS:** Part-time position (20 hours/week), mornings Monday through Friday. **SALARY:** As per collective agreement. **VACATION DAYS:** 23 working days plus specific holidays under the collective agreement (pro-rated according to start date). **Profile:** **EDUCATION:** Law degree. **Mandatory registration with a Bar Association as a practicing lawyer!** Complementary training or experience in legal advisory functions related to immigration. Training in Gender Equality and Human Rights is desirable. **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. Experience in drafting instructions, administrative files, and support reports. Experience in project justification and formulation is valued. **LANGUAGES:** Spanish/Catalan. High proficiency in French and Arabic will be considered favorably. Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable. **IT SKILLS:** Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Mercury and RedSara platforms. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are desirable for occasional job-related travel (mileage reimbursed by MPDL according to internal procedure).
