Seafood Department Manager

Position Summary: Ensures high-quality service in the seafood department by attending to and advising customers, managing inventory, and maintaining freshness standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent service and advise customers on seafood products. 2. Control product quality and ensure product freshness. 3. Set up the counter and display units, applying cleanliness and traceability. As part of the store team, your mission will be to guarantee high-quality service in the seafood department: * Deliver excellent service by responding to customer needs, recommending, advising, and guiding them on department products. * Place and communicate merchandise orders and prepare physical inventories. * Monitor product quality, expiration dates, and packaging—both for items directly displayed for sale and those stored in refrigerated chambers—removing any products that fail to meet Alcampo’s required freshness standards to ensure optimal quality of products offered for sale. * Set up the counter and product display units. * Ensure proper signage, wayfinding, and easy product accessibility. * Carry out daily cleaning, traceability, and related tasks together with the department team. * Establish department work schedules and participate in recruitment processes for new hires.
