Job Summary: This position seeks a customer-oriented individual to ensure product freshness and presentation, maintain cleanliness, and maximize daily sales. Key Responsibilities: 1. Impeccable maintenance of the sales point The primary objective of this position is to guarantee excellent customer service, ensure product freshness and proper presentation, and maintain cleanliness and order at the sales point to maximize daily sales. Main Responsibilities: * **Customer service:** Greet customers, advise on types of bread/pastries, dispatch products, and process payments (handling POS terminal and cash). * **Baking and basic preparation:** Monitor baking progress of frozen items (bread, pastries) in store ovens and restock continuously. * **Visual merchandising:** Arrange products attractively and cleanly in display cases and shelves, following rotation rules (first in, first out). * **Cleaning and disinfection:** Maintain impeccable cleanliness of the counter, café area (if applicable), cutting tools, and floor, complying with hygiene and sanitation regulations. * **Stock management:** Check expiration dates, record daily shrinkage (losses), and assist with purchase order lists. Key Competencies: * **Customer orientation and empathy:** Ability to serve customers with a smile even during peak morning hours (when people are in a hurry). * **Proactivity and dynamism:** In a bakery, there is always something to do (cleaning, restocking, bagging); this is not a static position. * **Strict punctuality:** Bakeries open very early; commitment to opening hours is critical. * **Teamwork:** Coordinate with colleagues from previous or subsequent shifts for handovers and cash counting. Conditions: * **Work schedule:** Typically rotating shifts (intensive mornings from 6:00 to 14:00 or afternoons from 14:00 to 21:00/22:00). * **Availability:** Frequent work on weekends and holidays (days with highest sales volume). Salary: €1,400.00–€1,450.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
