At **The Whiteam Consulting**, we are looking for a candidate with 3\-6 years of experience to provide software development and maintenance services for an enterprise-level digital platform with international reach, operating in critical production environments, with primary focus on backend activities complemented by frontend development. Service Location: Barcelona, delivered in hybrid mode — 40% onsite, 60% remote (candidates from other locations may be considered). Salary range: €41k SBA, potentially higher if the candidate fully meets all requirements precisely. Services will be delivered from Spain, with occasional travel required as dictated by the project. The necessary equipment for service delivery will be provided by the company. This service does not involve personal data processing. Start Date: As soon as possible. Freelancers are not accepted. **Scope of Service** * Provision of specialized technical services for the functional and technical evolution of a core sales support solution. * Development and maintenance of frontend and backend features, ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability. * Delivery in an international environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, with fluent English communication. * The developer will build and optimize scalable, high-quality product features using modern frontend and backend technologies, contributing to technical design, implementation, and continuous improvement within an agile product team. **Main Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain product features using Angular (Frontend) and Java/Spring Boot (Backend). * Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions. * Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance. * Implement and optimize high-load data processing and integrations. * Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. * Drive continuous improvement of development practices and standards. **Technical Collaboration Focus** * Work within a multifunctional agile team with strong alignment between frontend and backend. * Integrate APIs, event streaming platforms, and databases. * Contribute to technical alignment in distributed environments when required. * Focus on efficient delivery and technical excellence. **Requirements** 3\-6 years of experience * Extensive full-stack development experience. * Angular (frontend) and Java/Spring Boot (backend). * Experience with data-intensive applications and stream processing, e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Spring Cloud Stream, Reactive Streams. * Experience with databases, especially MongoDB. * Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. **Desirable** * DevOps knowledge: Kubernetes, Jenkins Pipelines, Dynatrace. * Experience with micro-frontend architectures. * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code). * Strong sense of responsibility for delivering product increments. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills (English and Spanish minimum B2; German or French are a plus). **Company** Joining THEWHITEAM means collaborating with a company composed of professionals with extensive experience in technology consulting.
