Our areas of activity are **Aerospace, Defense \& Security, Big Science, Biotechnology and Fintech.** **Main function and scope:** We are looking for a **Mechanical CAD Design Engineer** to join a project focused on the development of high\-precision sensors and robotic systems, with the objective of reaching TRL9 in an extremely demanding operating environment and severe operating conditions. The selected candidate will work on the design of parts, subassemblies, housings, supports, mechanical interfaces and the integration of electronics and sensors. **Core functions:** * Develop 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assemblies and technical documentation. * Design parts, housings, supports, mechanical interfaces and subassemblies. * Design compact, robust and manufacturable solutions. * Integrate sensors, electronic boards, connectors, wiring and fastening elements. * Collaborate with the senior team on design evolution against shock, vibration and temperature requirements. * Consider mass, volume, assembly and maintainability constraints. * Participate in design reviews. * Define tolerances, materials and manufacturing processes. * Coordinate technical aspects with manufacturing and suppliers. * Support prototypes, assembly, inspection, testing and incident analysis. **Required experience and candidate profile:** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design or similar. * Professional experience in CAD design of precision mechanical systems. * Strong command of 3D CAD tools. * Experience producing technical drawings. * Knowledge of tolerances, mechanical manufacturing, machining and surface treatments. * Experience in assembly design and design for manufacturing. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. * Interest in technology development projects and advanced prototyping. ***Nice\-to\-have*** *training / specific knowledge:* * Experience in the design of embedded equipment. * Experience in the integration of electronics, sensors or compact systems. * Knowledge of vibration and shock environments. * Basic knowledge of mechanical simulation, modal analysis or thermal dissipation. * Experience with encapsulation or mechanical protection of electronics. * Experience in the transition from prototype to qualified product.
