The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department at Faerch Buñol works to guarantee a safe, healthy, and environmentally respectful workplace. **Your Mission**

As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the plant operates in accordance with current legislation on health, safety, and environment. You will serve as a key internal reference, supporting the Plant Director and developing leaders and teams in preventive management, promoting a safe and sustainable working environment.
Additionally, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, risk management, and emergency response activities, ensuring integration of HSE culture across all areas of the site.

**Main Responsibilities**
=================================
As an HSE Specialist, you will:
* Ensure and document compliance with applicable HSE regulations
* Maintain plant-level Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems
* Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
* Manage corporate tools (Worldlex, Assure) and train users
* Coordinate HSE training, including safety onboarding for new hires
* Manage suppliers and contractors from an HSE perspective
* Coordinate work permits
* Conduct inspections and internal audits (including cross-site)
* Support operations in risk assessments
* Manage the risk register and track corrective actions
* Plan and lead emergency response
* Develop and execute the site’s audit plan
* Coordinate weekly safety walks
* Supervise environmental management (emissions, waste, monitoring, permits)
* Manage waste and hazardous materials
* Lead environmental improvement and energy efficiency projects
* Coordinate site-level ESG reporting
**Experience and Qualifications**
=================================
The ideal candidate has:
* Relevant HSE qualification or degree for the country
* NEBOSH certification (General and/or Environmental) or equivalent
* Training in auditing (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001\)
* Experience in root cause analysis and incident management
* Minimum English level B2
* Experience in industrial environments
* Solid knowledge of risk management
Additional assets include:
* Six Sigma certification (minimum Yellow Belt)
* Experience with HSE management tools (Assure, Worldlex or others)
**Success in the Role**

In the first months, the selected candidate must:
* Integrate into the plant and establish themselves as the HSE reference
* Identify and prioritize the site’s main risks
* Drive corrective and improvement actions
* Reinforce the team’s preventive culture

The HSE Specialist works cross-functionally with all plant departments, closely collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.

This position reports directly to the functional HSE Department Head, and indirectly — and in coordination — with the Plant Director.
