For over 8 years, we have provided fireproofing services to industrial, residential, and construction-sector clients throughout the Valencian Community and adjacent areas. We employ a team of 10 highly qualified professionals who work under strict safety and quality protocols, complying with the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE\-DB\-SI) and the Regulation on Fire Protection Installations (RIPCI). We are looking for an experienced Fireproofing Technician with demonstrable experience to join our team immediately. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing passive fire protection works on building projects, industrial facilities, metal structures, and refurbishment projects. **Responsibilities** ---------- Main responsibilities * Application of fireproofing paints and mortars onto metal, wood, and concrete structures using airless spray guns, brushes, or rollers, depending on the substrate. * On-site spraying of vermiculite and intumescent mortars for new construction and refurbishment, controlling thickness according to the manufacturer's technical data sheet. * Measurement and control of dry-film thickness using calibrated gauges, ensuring compliance with project specifications. * Reading and interpreting drawings, technical data sheets, and specification sheets from approved manufacturers. * Surface preparation and cleaning: removal of rust, grease, dust, and construction residues via wire brushing, abrasive blasting, or degreasing agents. * On-site material management: correct product dosing, waste control, and daily recording of consumption in work reports. * Strict adherence to the Site Safety and Health Plan, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and active participation in job-specific risk assessments. * Coordination with other trades (e.g., painting, welding, structural assembly) and clear communication with the site supervisor. **Requirements** -------------- * Medium-level Vocational Training (FP Grado Medio) in Construction and Civil Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent (Higher-level Vocational Training is advantageous). * Certificate for application of phytosanitary or biocidal products (basic or qualified level) — considered a plus. **Benefits** -------------- **Permanent contract from day one** — no hidden probationary periods; direct incorporation into permanent staff. **Real career development plan:** opportunity to advance to team supervisor or site manager within 2–4 years. **Paid continuous training:** certified courses in fireproofing, working at height, Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), and new application techniques. **Company vehicle** for site travel, with flexible mixed-use arrangements. **Company mobile phone**, high-end tools, and PPE fully provided by the company. **Flexible summer hours:** intensive schedule during July–August, ending at 14:00. **Annual productivity bonus**, linked to project goals and quality standards, up to 8% of gross salary. **Stable team and positive atmosphere:** family-owned company with over 15 permanent employees, high retention, and low turnover.
