Integration into an editorial team with ongoing projects Job Description We are looking for an **editorial layout designer** with experience in printed and digital (ebook) publications to collaborate on book production. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing, designing, and reviewing final layouts, ensuring typographic quality and compliance with editorial standards, as is customary for similar positions in the industry. Main Responsibilities * Layout design of books in print and digital formats (EPUB, PDF). * Basic orthotypographic review and application of corrections. * Preparation of final files for printing or digital distribution. * Coordination with the editorial team (proofreading, design, and production). Requirements * Demonstrable experience in editorial layout design. * Proficiency in **Adobe InDesign** (mandatory), commonly used in the industry. * Knowledge of typography, composition, and editorial guidelines. * Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Desirable Qualifications * Specific qualification in editorial design or layout. * Certification or specialized courses in **Adobe InDesign**. * Training in orthotypographic or stylistic proofreading. * Studies in Philology, Communication, Publishing, or related fields (common in the industry). * Prior experience in ebook production.
