An expanding business group in the \[Insert sector] sector is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and finance department, ensuring the integrity and compliance of all accounting information. **Main responsibilities** * Supervise and review general accounting (journal entries, ledgers, financial statements). * Prepare annual financial statements and monthly/quarterly closings. * Manage taxes (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, withholding taxes) and coordinate with external tax advisors. * Prepare financial reports for senior management. * Monitor treasury and cash flow. * Lead and train the accounting team. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, including at least 2 years leading teams. * **Software:** Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Navision or similar) and advanced Excel. * **Regulations:** Solid knowledge of the Spanish General Chart of Accounts (PGC) and current tax legislation. * **Competencies:** Leadership, analytical skills, accuracy, and results orientation.
