We are seeking a **Sustainability Technician** eager to join our expansion project and embrace the growth challenge within a developing company deeply concerned about environmental protection and sustainable development. This role will be responsible for managing sustainability projects, environmental certifications, and consulting on circular economy and sustainable development strategies—integrating innovative solutions to maximize efficiency and positive impact (environmental, social, and economic). You will report directly to the General Management. **Your Key Responsibilities** ------------------------------ * Implementation and monitoring of the strategic sustainability plan. * Development, coordination, data collection, implementation, and maintenance of sustainability strategy, sustainability reporting, and its communication. * Setting sustainability and circular economy objectives; monitoring and certification, where required. * Calculating the organization’s carbon footprint for subsequent verification. * Familiarity with ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol calculation methodology. * Maintenance and renewal of ISO 14001; annual updating of environmental aspects and criteria. * Eco-design of products; ISO 14006; monitoring and improvement; life cycle analysis of products. * Involvement in and knowledge of specific certifications for office furniture. * Collaboration with suppliers, customers, internal staff, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable practices across the entire value chain. * Delivering training and raising awareness among company personnel on sustainability and CSR topics. **Required Qualifications** ------------------------- * Academic background in sustainability and CSR is mandatory: Environmental Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Master’s in Sustainability, or equivalent. * Knowledge of current sustainability regulations and the 2030 Agenda **(mandatory requirement).** * Minimum two years’ prior experience in similar sustainability roles **(mandatory requirement).** * Specific knowledge of sustainability standards applicable to the furniture sector (desirable). **What We Offer** ---------------------- * Job stability: You will join a solid, industry-leading office and contract furniture company under an indefinite-term contract, working on a challenging long-term project offering security and future prospects. * You will enjoy a pleasant work environment within a positive workplace culture at a family-owned business. * You will become part of a dynamic team. * This is an on-site position.
