Description

The position involves material handling in a logistics warehouse environment, including loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalanced forklift at the dock. Main tasks include preparing orders of raw material drums, ensuring products are correctly identified and ready for shipment. Storing palletized materials on racking is performed using counterbalanced and trilateral forklifts, optimizing available warehouse space and facilitating subsequent access. Workplace organization and cleanliness are key responsibilities, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, as well as performing basic maintenance on used machinery to ensure proper operation and operational safety. Work is carried out under a rotating shift system covering 24 hours per day, adapting to the warehouse’s operational needs and the company’s established logistical planning to guarantee service continuity. The role requires constant attention to established safety and quality procedures, following supervisor instructions and collaborating with the team to meet daily production and distribution targets. The work environment is dynamic and physically demanding, where accuracy and efficiency in goods handling are fundamental to the success of logistics operations, directly contributing to the company’s supply chain. Adaptability to various shifts and the ability to work autonomously while adhering to specific protocols are essential for effective performance in this industrial-sector position. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension for another 6 months and subsequent conversion to a permanent contract, offering stable employment with immediate start. The salary during the first 6 months is €2,000 gross per month, increasing to €2,300 gross per month after conversion. Working hours follow a rotating shift pattern: morning shift from 06:00 to 14:00, afternoon shift from 14:00 to 22:00, and night shift from 22:00 to 06:00, with weekly rotation ensuring equitable shift distribution among staff. The work atmosphere is positive, and teamwork collaboration is encouraged to maintain a safe and productive warehouse environment. A valid forklift operator’s license is required, certified for both counterbalanced and trilateral forklift operation, and the corresponding diploma must be presented. A minimum of one year’s experience in similar roles within a warehouse or logistics environment is necessary. The candidate must be organized, responsible, and capable of adapting to the work environment while complying with established safety procedures. Knowledge of scissor lift and overhead crane operation is considered an advantage to broaden operational capabilities within the industrial warehouse.
