




Catalonia Hotels & Resorts is a multinational hotel chain. It is one of the leading hotel chains in our country, currently operating 80 establishments across more than 20 different destinations, and is actively expanding. We are seeking an Event Management Assistant to join the PLAÇA CATALUNYA hotel located in the center of Barcelona. Main responsibilities include: * Managing group and event requests received by the hotel. * Coordinating with relevant departments to prepare, follow up on, and respond to quotations. * Keeping the quotation database updated (informational / on option / cancelled / confirmed). * Managing quotations in accordance with the hotel’s commercial policy and strategy to maximize results and optimize use of hotel facilities. * Hosting and attending site inspection visits. * Preparing proposals and following up on them. * Negotiating requested group business in coordination with the Groups Manager and Commercial Director. * Drafting contracts and tracking deposits. * Coordinating with the Reservations Department to manage hotel yield. Requirements: * One year of experience in a similar position. * Advanced level of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
