**Boluda Corporación Marítima \- Base Manager** **Location:** Las Palmas We are seeking to hire a **Base Manager** to lead and coordinate operations in Las Palmas. This position plays a strategic role in team management, port agent relations, and daily operational supervision. **Key Responsibilities:** * **People and operations management**: Supervise and coordinate team activities, ensuring proper base and tugboat operations. * **Institutional and commercial relations**: Represent the company before port authorities, shipping agents, and clients, fostering strategic business relationships. * **Technical supervision and maintenance**: Coordinate with the technical inspector on tugboat maintenance, ensuring fleet operational readiness and availability of key certifications and documentation. * **Regulatory and management compliance**: Implement and maintain Management System processes, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality regulations. **Position Requirements:** * University degree, preferably in: Master Mariner, Naval Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience required for this role. * Experience in the maritime sector * Leadership and teamwork skills * Availability to manage incidents and operations **About Us:** Boluda Corporación Marítima traces its origins to 1837 with the founding of Naviera Fos, a maritime transport company operating in Mediterranean ports.
