At Alannia Resorts, a leading chain of family-oriented holiday resorts, we are seeking to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager to strengthen our food and beverage team. Your mission will be to support the Restaurant Manager in coordinating service operations, ensuring excellent guest service and guaranteeing that the gastronomic experience reflects Alannia’s core brand values: quality, closeness, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: · Collaborate with and assist the Restaurant Manager in daily service planning and coordination. · Supervise proper service execution and maintain constant presence in the dining area. · Assign tasks and distribute responsibilities among the restaurant team, ensuring operational efficiency across all sections. · Comply with and enforce internal quality standards and protocols. · Conduct daily checks of material stock levels and availability of required supplies. · Manage shift changes and staff substitutions, and provide training support for new team members. · Carry out inventory counts, participate in merchandise ordering proposals, and—when delegated—execute purchase orders. · Fully substitute for the Restaurant Manager during absences, performing all managerial and operational duties. Experience: · Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Assistant Restaurant Manager, Assistant Maître, or Restaurant Supervisor). · Experience in hotels, resorts, or tourism chains is highly valued. Education: · Minimum qualification: Intermediate Vocational Training in Hospitality and Tourism or Food Service. · Solid knowledge of protocol, wine pairing, and à la carte service. · Languages: Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency (additional languages are an asset).
