We are currently seeking a Construction Manager to oversee predominantly retail construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
\- Management and supervision of nationally awarded construction projects assigned to the Corporate Space Management Department, covering the full project lifecycle from contract award through to invoicing, with the objective of achieving economic profitability and customer retention.
\- Cost control and oversight to improve operational margins on construction projects.
\- Monitoring and supervision of project timelines and delivery commitments — both final and interim — across all assigned construction works.
\- Comparative analysis of subcontractors and participation in their selection and contracting.
\- Weekly preparation and submission of contradictory budgets for construction projects, subject to client validation.
\- Quality control of workmanship and coordination with site supervisors.
\- Ongoing communication with end clients and/or technical directors.
\- Project file closure aligned with client satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
\- Required qualification: Technical Architecture, Building Surveyor, Building Engineering, or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
\- IT tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Presto, Microsoft Project / Primavera.
\- Regulations: In-depth knowledge of the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE) and occupational health and safety regulations; 60-hour PRL certification.
\- Proven experience: 3–5 years serving as Construction Manager on specific retail projects, commercial premises, or turnkey office implementation projects.
\- Agility: Demonstrated ability to work effectively under tight deadlines (short-cycle / fast-track projects).
\- Negotiation skills and on-site conflict resolution capability.
\- High level of organization, autonomy, and attention to aesthetic finishing details.
\- Technical leadership for managing multidisciplinary and industrial teams.
\- Willingness to travel (based on project portfolio).
