This is a practical, customer-oriented role focused on delivering field service, on-site technical support, and equipment maintenance. The position is based in **Madrid**, involving travel to customers in coordination with technicians located in both Madrid and Barcelona. This position is ideal for a **junior** or **intermediate-level** technician aiming to develop professionally within the technical service area of ophthalmic medical devices. **Key Responsibilities** * Install, perform preventive maintenance, resolve incidents, and carry out corrective repairs on ophthalmic medical equipment from leading global ophthalmic brands, at customer sites. * Visit clinics and hospitals to ensure proper equipment functionality and customer satisfaction. * Serve as the technical point of contact during service visits, inspections, and follow-ups. * Support the sales team and product specialist teams in executing technical service activities in the field. * Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and related documentation in SAP BUSINESS ONE and SALESFORCE systems. * Assist in managing and utilizing demonstration equipment, loan/swap equipment, and workshop equipment when required. * Provide field-based feedback to support continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and training materials. * Travel up to 40**%** of the time within Spain to support customers and service-related activities. **Qualification** * Technical education in medical devices, biomedical engineering, electromechanics, or a related field. * Entry-level experience in technical service, technical support, or equipment maintenance (experience with medical devices is preferred). * Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills. * Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Spain. * Fluency in Spanish and basic English proficiency for internal communication. * Valid driver’s license. **Company** BVI® is refocusing the future of vision.
