Job Summary: We are seeking a Shadow Teacher to provide individualized support to a 2nd-year ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) student, promoting her academic, social, and personal autonomy. Promotion of autonomy, motivation, and social skills within the school environment. **Job Offer: Shadow Teacher – School Support in Secondary Education** **Location:** School in Alcobendas (Madrid) **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 **Start Date:** January **Type of Engagement:** Self-employed professional (mandatory) **Job Description** We are looking for a **Shadow Teacher** to provide individualized support throughout the school day to a student in **2nd year of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)** at a school in Alcobendas. The goal of this position is to foster her academic and social inclusion in the classroom, promote her autonomy, academic motivation, and positive peer relationships. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Accompany the student during class hours, facilitating her active participation in the classroom. * Implement **academic adaptations** of teaching materials and assignments, in coordination with teaching staff. * Support organization, planning, and monitoring of schoolwork. * Design and apply **study techniques** tailored to her needs. * Foster **motivation for learning** and a positive attitude toward school. * Provide **social support**, facilitating appropriate interactions with peers and promoting social skills. * Gradually enhance personal and academic autonomy. * Coordinate with the family, educational center, and other involved professionals. * Maintain records documenting progress and development. **Requirements** * Degree related to education: Primary Education Teaching, Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, Social Education, or equivalent. * Experience or training in individualized educational support and/or support for students with specific educational needs. * Knowledge of curriculum adaptation strategies and inclusive methodologies. * Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and ability to work collaboratively. * **Mandatory registration as a self-employed professional or willingness to register.** **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience as a shadow teacher, especially in secondary education. * Training in learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or other specific educational needs. * Knowledge of study techniques, motivation strategies, and emotional support. * Initiative and creativity in adapting teaching materials. **We Offer** * Full-time schedule Monday to Friday (9:00–17:00\). * Stable professional collaboration throughout the academic year. * An inclusive educational environment and coordinated work with the teaching team. * Ongoing professional guidance and support.
