Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced gerontology nurse to coordinate and supervise healthcare services in a senior residential facility, performing duties appropriate to the professional role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination and supervision of healthcare staff 2. Management and supervision of medications and supplies 3. Communication with families and healthcare provision We seek a qualified nurse available Monday to Friday on a full-time basis (flexible morning shifts), responsible for coordination and supervision of healthcare services within a senior residential facility, as well as duties inherent to their professional category. – Organize, assign, and coordinate staff providing services in the healthcare area. – Plan and supervise the activities of subordinate staff, and monitor proper use and economy of materials and equipment under their responsibility. – Supervise the condition and storage of medications, and prepare and administer medications according to medical prescriptions. – Request dietary meals from the kitchen service, collaborating with the person responsible for their preparation. – Inform families about the health status of residents. – Request and control the supply of necessary materials and equipment for the healthcare area. – Participate in team meetings. – Supervise the health conditions of the facility’s premises. – Assume functions delegated by medical staff that fall within the healthcare area and professional competence. – Perform administrative duties within their competence and delegated management tasks in the healthcare area. – Report incidents or anomalies observed during task execution to their immediate supervisor. – Coordinate and supervise care outlined in the Individualized Care Plan (PIAI), provided such care falls within their functional scope. – Measure blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. – Organize clinical records and document interventions. – Attend to bedridden residents due to illness, performing prescribed repositioning maneuvers, monitoring meal service for ill residents, and directly administering meals to patients requiring instrumental feeding (nasogastric tube, gastric tube, etc.). – Care for and clean the adhesive and stoma of colostomized residents. – Monitor personal hygiene of residents, as well as medications and food items kept in their rooms. – Address healthcare needs of center staff falling within their professional competence. – Collaborate with physiotherapists in activities when their specific functions allow. – Place pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology orders in centers without specialists. – Monitor and ensure proper execution of physical treatments prescribed by medical staff, observing any incidents occurring during implementation. * Minimum experience: 1 month; preference given to candidates with gerontology experience. * Vehicle availability required: private car * Valid driver's license: Class B * Permanent employment contract * Part-time schedule (27 hours \- weekly) * Additional information: Salary according to the Dependency Care Agreement. €14,500/year \+ allowances. Working hours: Monday to Friday, flexible mornings
