We need someone who not only masters the technology stack, but can also act as a bridge between our technical leadership’s strategic vision and the team’s daily execution. We need a person with outstanding communication skills and a strong sense of “ownership”, capable of translating complex requirements into robust designs—and becoming the safe harbor developers turn to when they need guidance. **What Will You Do at Ideable?** ========================== * **End-to-end development cycle:** You’ll handle development tasks ranging from estimation and definition of acceptance criteria, through coding, testing, and production deployment—assuming full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery flow. * **Be the technical reference on one of our key projects:** You’ll join a key project as the Java team’s technical reference. You’ll be the day-to-day support for developers (currently two), removing blockers and ensuring uninterrupted technical flow. * **Mentorship and guidance:** You’ll share your knowledge with less-experienced team members, helping them improve their logical reasoning and autonomy. * **Design and architecture:** You’ll sketch and define the “skeleton” of solutions (APIs, data models, workflows) before implementation begins—ensuring the team builds upon a solid foundation. * **Support for the Tech Lead:** You’ll collaborate closely with Rubén (our **Java Tech Lead**) to ensure the project adheres to internal standards, while he focuses on strategic vision—you’ll guarantee operational excellence. * **Managing technical expectations:** You’ll partner with the project’s PM to balance client business needs with code health and team sustainability. * **AI Culture:** AI is part of our daily workflow, and we expect you to use it naturally across the software lifecycle. Your challenge will be applying it according to our standards—from defining acceptance criteria to creating tests and supporting deployments—and, above all, helping us continuously improve how we use AI at Ideable. **What Do We Need From You?** =========================== * Proven prior experience: extensive track record in Java ecosystems using Spring Boot (versions 3\.x and 4\.x), Hibernate/JPA, and relational database management (PostgreSQL and Oracle). Experience in the following areas will be especially valued: * + Microservice architectures with REST APIs (JAX\-RS, Jersey) and API\-first approaches (OpenAPI/Swagger Codegen). + Distributed caching (Redis/Valkey) and search systems (Elasticsearch). + Complex integrations with ERPs or other systems via diverse protocols (REST, SOAP, TCP/sockets). + Familiarity with observability tools (Sentry, New Relic, OpenTelemetry) and database migrations (Flyway). * **Mindset and experience as a reference:** genuine interest in mentorship and technical leadership.
