Collaborative work environment with project technical team REIR – Educational Resources for Children at Risk is seeking a **Woodwork Instructor** to deliver the official training specialization **"Basic Procedures in Carpentry Services" (Code MAMD08 – 125 hours)**, targeted at **youth in situations of social vulnerability**, with the aim of enhancing their employability and professional competencies within the Wood, Furniture, and Cork occupational sector. The training will be delivered in morning sessions, approximately from **9:00 AM to 1:00 PM**, in the municipality of **Granollers**. **Main responsibilities** * Deliver the 4 official training modules: * + Module 1: Occupational Context (15 hours) + Module 2: Tools and Materials in Carpentry (40 hours) + Module 3: Basic Carpentry Procedures (55 hours) + Module 4: Workspaces in Carpentry (15 hours) * Prepare and adapt content to the characteristics and needs of the group. * Apply practical and experiential methodology appropriate for youth with discontinuous pathways or situations of vulnerability. * Ensure compliance with occupational safety and risk prevention regulations in the workshop. * Conduct individualized follow-up of trainees. * Carry out continuous (theoretical\-practical) and final evaluation of the training activity (Competent/Not Competent). * Coordinate with the project’s technical team. * Develop pedagogical documentation and monitoring reports. **Preferred qualifications** * Prior experience working with groups at risk of social exclusion. * Experience in subsidized vocational training projects. * Socioeducational support competencies. * Ability to motivate and facilitate group dynamics. * Knowledge of the local area (Granollers and surrounding region). **Offered** * Contract linked to delivery of the training activity (125 hours). * Morning schedule (approx. 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM). * Contract (according to the Catalonia Social Action Collective Agreement) or self-employed status (€40 gross per hour). * Location: Granollers. * Immediate start. * Join a socially impactful project focused on youth labor insertion. ***Will you join us?*** *If you are passionate about wood, believe in the value of craftsmanship, and wish to transmit practical knowledge that opens doors to employment for youth in situations of vulnerability, this is your opportunity to build the future with your hands.* ***Send us your CV and become part of a project with real impact.*** **Requirements** * Hold one of the following official qualifications required by the program: * + Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent. + Technician or Senior Technician in the Wood, Furniture, and Cork occupational sector. + Level 2 or 3 Professional Certification in the relevant occupational sector. * **Minimum 2 years’ experience** in the wood, furniture, and cork sector. * Teaching competence accredited via: * + Professional Certification in Vocational Training Teaching for Employment, or + Master’s Degree in Teacher/Trainer Education, or + Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience. * Knowledge of occupational risk prevention in workshop environments. * Capacity to adapt teaching methodology to youth in situations of vulnerability.
