Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Teacher to support students' academic development at Kumon Madrid Aluche, facilitating learning through the Kumon Method and monitoring their progress. Foster self-directed learning among students Kumon is an internationally recognized educational method that helps children and youth maximize their potential in mathematics, reading, and English through self-directed learning. At Kumon Madrid Aluche, we seek a committed and enthusiastic **Assistant Teacher** to join our team and support the academic development of our students. Position Details * **Working Hours:** 10 hours per week * **Schedule:** Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM * **Contract Type:** Part-time * **Start Date:** Immediate * **Salary:** As per collective agreement You will work directly with students of various ages and levels to facilitate their learning using the Kumon Method. Your responsibilities will include supervising students’ individual work, correcting exercises on the spot, guiding students without giving them direct answers, maintaining a focused and motivating study environment, and recording each student’s daily progress. We are looking for a candidate with strong academic background (minimum high school diploma; university studies in education, psychology, or related fields preferred), solid math skills, at least intermediate-level English proficiency, patience and ability to motivate children and adolescents, clear and effective communication skills, and passion for education and child development. Job Type: Internship Contract Contract Duration: 3 months Salary: €300.00–€400.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
