Travel between our locations is possible. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES – What You’ll Do Here:** * You migrate large on-premise system landscapes to the cloud and set the foundation for stable and secure operations * You understand ITSM in large organizations and are familiar with the differences between change and incident management. Working with typical applications such as ServiceNow or Jira is part of your daily routine * Through your professional experience, you have firmly embedded fundamental networking knowledge, including understanding of TCP/IP and common protocols such as DNS and DHCP, into your skill set * You have strong practical experience with at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell * Security first: With your extensive experience working in an enterprise IT environment, including familiarity with relevant change and security procedures, your team can rely on you * At least three years of experience managing Windows or Linux systems characterizes you * Even in critical situations, you remain calm and provide professional troubleshooting support Additionally, you bring these specialized skills: **At least 3 years of practical experience in one or more of the following areas:** **Windows:** * Administration and configuration of the Windows Server operating system * Enterprise management of Windows using SCCM, WDS, WSUS, or similar tools * Basic licensing knowledge of Microsoft solutions or **Linux:** * Administration and configuration of at least one enterprise Linux distribution such as RedHat or SUSE * Management of enterprise Linux using Ansible, RedHat Satellite, or comparable tools **At least three years of experience in ONE of the following specialization areas** **Virtualization:** * Administration and configuration of one or more virtualization platforms such as VMware, HyperV, or comparable * Understanding of virtual machine formats such as OVF or VMX * Enterprise virtualization tools for backup and recovery, monitoring, etc. or **Database Management:** * Administration and configuration of enterprise database products such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle DB2 * Database tools for backup and recovery, monitoring, etc. or **Storage Management:** * Administration and configuration of storage solutions such as Windows DFS, NetApp OnTap, Nutanix, or comparable * Solid understanding of underlying concepts such as RAID and protocols like NFS or SMB or **Governance:** * Integration of corporate IT solutions into legal requirements such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, BAIT * Documentation of required specifications and coordination with relevant departments **YOUR BACKGROUND – What You Bring:** * Your excellent communication skills enhance our team by enabling effective interaction with internal and external clients as well as your colleagues * Self-organization and competent management of subprojects are second nature to you * Cloud experience is a plus, but not mandatory — we offer an optimal training program to prepare you for the cloud * Your organized work style includes the ability to create and maintain technical documentation and manuals * You have very good written and spoken German and English language skills Do you enjoy being surrounded by brilliant minds?
