Preparation and support for security audits At Icnea, we are looking for a systems administrator responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our SQL Server server infrastructure in a Windows Server environment. **Responsibilities** ---------- **Systems Administration** * Autonomous management of SQL Server (2022\): installation, configuration, updates, and patches. * Configuration and monitoring of SQL Server Agent * Index and statistics maintenance, maintenance plans **Backups and Recovery** * Automation and verification of backups * Configuration of SQL Server Audit (SQL Server Audit / Extended Events) * Management of encryption certificates and backups of encryption keys. * Periodic review of permissions and restoration * Preparation and support for internal and external security audits **Optimization and Performance** * Analysis of slow queries using Query Store, DMVs, and Extended Events * Review of execution plans and identification of missing or inefficient indexes. * Detection and resolution of blocking, deadlocks, and wait accumulation. * Identification of bottlenecks **Windows Server Infrastructure** * Administration of Windows Server: updates, services, operating system performance * Storage management: disks, LUNs, compression, quotas **Requirements** -------------- **Mandatory** * Proven experience of 5 to 7 years as a systems administrator * Knowledge and experience with SQL Server (2022\) and Windows Server * Ability to autonomously manage infrastructure and anticipate issues * Independent technical judgment: making rigorous infrastructure-related decisions and justifying them **Desirable** * Knowledge of database health monitoring in Hangfire **Benefits** -------------- * Work for an international technology company with over 25 years of history. * Possibility of remote work * Full-time position * Statutory holidays according to calendar \+ 1 additional day on your birthday * Health insurance starting from the first year of employment * Flexible compensation system: restaurant and transportation vouchers * Career development and professional growth plans
