DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Database Administrator to join the **22CSEF** project at BBVA. The candidate will be responsible for supporting cloud resource provisioning (AWS), collaborating on application deployments, automating processes with **Terraform and Bash**, managing permissions (IAM), monitoring, documentation, and environment maintenance. This role is aimed at professionals with knowledge of **cloud environments** who are interested in growing their expertise in managing cloud database services and participating in large-scale projects. **Skills:** Cloud databases, AWS Redshift, Terraform, Jenkins, Bash/Linux, CI/CD, Agile. **Requirements:** Minimum 1 year of experience, familiarity with AWS and cloud databases, interest in developing within financial environments. REQUIREMENTS Support AWS resource provisioning: Work with the team to provision and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform. Assist in application deployment: Support deployment of services on AWS, following team best practices and standards. Maintenance and support: Help perform daily operational and maintenance tasks for the infrastructure, including permission management (IAM), monitoring, and resolving basic issues. Participate in automation: Collaborate in developing and maintaining scripts (Bash, Linux) to automate repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency. CI/CD: Contribute to managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD), preferably using Jenkins. Monitoring and alerts: Participate in maintaining monitoring tools and configuring alerts to ensure proper service operation. Documentation: Support the creation and updating of technical documentation, manuals, and procedures. Continuous learning and improvement: Stay up to date with new technologies and assist the team in identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes. Agile methodology: Work within an Agile framework, actively collaborating with the team to achieve project goals. Requirements and (1\-2 years of experience) Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform. Knowledge of common AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins. Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting skills in Bash. Basic knowledge of Git for version control. Familiarity with Agile methodology. Desirable qualifications Knowledge of additional AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, or ECS/EKS. Experience with Docker and containerization concepts. Understanding of microservices architecture. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
