START Center for Cancer Research ("START") is the world's largest network of Phase I centers, entirely dedicated to oncology clinical research. Throughout our history, START has provided hope to cancer patients in communities worldwide by offering them access to cutting-edge clinical trials in the United States and Europe. Today, with over 1,300 studies conducted and research centers in the United States, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland, START's mission is to accelerate the development of new cancer therapies that improve quality of life and survival for cancer patients—and ultimately lead to their cure. To date, more than 43 therapies developed at START centers have received FDA/EMA approval. Open position: **EU Training Program Manager / European Clinical Training Lead** **About the role** We are seeking an **EU Training Program Manager** to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of clinical training programs across our European centers. This position plays a critical role in standardizing training processes, ensuring clinical teams possess the competencies, knowledge, and tools necessary to deliver excellence in clinical care and research. The selected candidate will work closely with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and local leaders to develop training initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. **Key responsibilities** * Design, implement, and continuously improve standardized clinical training programs. * Develop onboarding programs, training plans, curricula, and role-based competency frameworks. * Ensure alignment of training initiatives with procedures, systems, and regulatory requirements. * Identify training needs and propose tailored solutions for different departments and centers. * Manage the full learning program lifecycle: needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. * Oversee competency assessment and professional readiness programs. * Measure training effectiveness using performance metrics, audits, and participant feedback. * Lead training projects associated with the rollout of new systems, tools, or processes. * Drive digital learning strategies, including e-learning, virtual training, and LMS platforms. * Collaborate with internal subject-matter experts to keep training content up to date. * Provide support and guidance to trainers and local training leads. * Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence. **Essential requirements:** * University degree in Health Sciences, Education, or a related field. * 5–8 years of experience in clinical research, clinical operations, or training within healthcare or research settings. * Experience leading or managing training programs. * Experience designing and implementing onboarding programs and competency development initiatives. * Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. * Advanced level of English. **Preferred qualifications:** * Professional certifications related to clinical research or training. * Experience in international or multicenter organizations. * Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning methodologies. * Experience with LMS platforms and digital training tools. * Involvement in clinical or technological system implementations. * Familiarity with audits, inspections, and quality management systems. **What we offer** * Join a leading international organization in clinical research. * Participate in strategic projects with global impact. * A dynamic, collaborative, and innovative work environment. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Flexible working model and opportunities for international travel.
