From Mystery Project, a specialized firm in technical and industrial talent recruitment, we are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join on a permanent basis an international company leading in the manufacturing of metal components for the automotive industry, based in the Móstoles area (Madrid). About the company Our client is a multinational in the industrial/automotive sector with modern production facilities and over 700 employees. Their technology is based on high and low-pressure aluminum injection, operating under international quality standards and continuous improvement. Main responsibilities The selected candidate will be the key liaison between the organization and its supplier network, overseeing and ensuring the quality of supplied materials and components. **Key responsibilities include:** Ensuring compliance with APQP requirements in new projects, including supplier visits up to final validation. Monitoring ongoing production quality, responding to critical incidents. Driving corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers. Supporting the internal team in resolving issues related to external supply quality. **Required skills and knowledge:** Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality environments within the automotive sector. Advanced proficiency in English. Availability for occasional travel. Own vehicle (mandatory requirement). CANDIDATES WITHOUT A DRIVER'S LICENSE OR OWN VEHICLE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Certifications such as IATF-16949 or VDA 6.3 auditor will be valued positively. Knowledge of core industry tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC). Experience in FMEA analysis, control plans, and 8D methodology. Proficiency in metrology, interpretation of technical drawings, and analysis of production processes. German language proficiency.
