Within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, we are launching an academy aimed at onboarding students through an internship program to support an international development team that forms part of South Europe Technologies (SET Iberia) \- International Shared Services Center for IT, Data, and Operations.
Following an onboarding period with the technical lead and the rest of the team, your main responsibilities will include:
* Identifying and proposing improvements to optimize the performance and processes of implemented data solutions.
* Gathering and analyzing requirements proposed by various business areas.
* Ability to interpret large volumes of data and extract relevant insights.
* Implementing solutions for extracting and transforming stored data.
* Developing skills to translate complex data into comprehensible reports for both technical and non-technical audiences. These reports must be designed, automated, and published using Power BI and/or Tableau.
* Collaborating with other departments and interdisciplinary teams (e.g., business analysts, data scientists) in developing data-driven analytical products.
* Based on your experience, proposing improvements to data quality and governance standards established by the Data Office.
* Staying up to date with trends and best practices in designing and implementing technologies applied to data handling and data-based project development.
Requirements for this position:
* Degree in Computer Engineering or other engineering disciplines, or in related fields such as mathematics, statistics, physics, or equivalent.
* Training via specialized courses and/or bootcamps in data analytics and Big Data.
* Prior work experience in a company is valued.
Soft skills
* Problem-solving skills and teamwork ability.
* Analytical capability and attention to detail.
* Proactivity.
Languages
* English (minimum B2\) / French (optional).
