Delivers laundered clothing to guest rooms. Capable of working quickly and efficiently. Strong customer service and communication skills. Checks the operational conditions and cleanliness of laundry machinery and equipment. Responds promptly to guest requests, Front Desk requests, or requests from the Guest Services department. Performs other reasonable work duties as assigned by supervisors. Coordinates all repairs with appropriate personnel and collects items upon completion for delivery. Verifies efficient supply of chemicals, supplies, etc., for the laundry. Complies with all company policies and procedures; ensures uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintains confidentiality of company information and protects company assets. Communicates with others using clear and professional language; prepares and reviews written documents accurately and on time; answers telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others; supports team efforts to achieve common goals; listens and responds appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Ensures compliance with quality expectations and standards. Reaches overhead, bends at the waist, twists at the waist, drags and squats; grasps, turns, and manipulates objects; moves, lifts, or carries objects weighing up to or equal to 10 pounds (11\.25 Kg); stands, sits, or walks for extended periods of time. Performs other reasonable work duties as assigned by supervisors. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. (General Educational Development, GED). Relevant Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
