Job Summary: A café-bar is seeking waiters/waitresses to support setup, table service, customer assistance, and maintenance, including learning and operating bar equipment. Key Points: 1. Punctuality, good appearance, and courteous treatment of the public The café-bar is seeking 2 waiters/waitresses: one full-time and one part-time. Full-time: 40 hours/week, schedule from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. (days as required by the company, Monday through Sunday). Part-time: 20 hours/week, schedule from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (days as required by the company, Monday through Sunday). Support in setting up the dining area and terrace; table service support: delivering drinks and dishes and subsequently clearing them; customer assistance; maintaining order and cleanliness in work areas; learning and operating the coffee machine, grinders, and other small bar appliances; managing the industrial dishwashers and glasswashers in the bar area; supporting stock control and beverage restocking; supporting use of the POS terminal (point-of-sale) for order entry. * Minimum 1 month of experience. Prior experience in similar tasks is preferred. * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Mandatory requirement: food handler certificate (or commitment to obtain it). Physical agility and organizational ability for basic support tasks (table cleaning, stock replenishment, bar support). * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: 1221 * Additional relevant information: No prior specific hospitality training is required, although completion of a basic bar or restaurant course will be considered an advantage.
