Job Summary: We are seeking dynamic and proactive Waiters/Waitresses to deliver agile, friendly, and professional service in the breakfast buffet, banquets, and our Skybar. Key Highlights: 1. Dynamic environment with growth opportunities At Novotel Valencia Lavant — a newly opened hotel — we are looking to hire energetic Waiters/Waitresses with a service-oriented attitude and enthusiasm to grow within a dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to work across three key areas: the breakfast buffet, banquets/events, and our "crown jewel": the Skybar. **Your mission:** Deliver agile, friendly, and professional service, paying attention to detail and ensuring an exceptional guest experience at every moment — from the first cup of coffee of the day to the last cocktail with a view. **Responsibilities:** * Breakfast buffet: setup and restocking, guest service, table clearing and cleaning, coordination with kitchen. * Banquets and events: room preparation, food/cocktail service, protocol adherence, coordination with the events team. * Skybar: terrace/bar service, suggestive selling (upselling), tray handling, beverage and cocktail menu knowledge (as per profile). * Maintain order, hygiene, and compliance with standards (HACCP and internal procedures). * Teamwork with Kitchen, Bar, Front Desk, and Events departments. * Basic order management and cash handling (depending on position and shift). * Previous experience as a waiter/waitress (experience in hotels, breakfast service, events, or rooftop/bar is preferred). * Guest-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and proactive attitude. * Agility, organization, and ability to perform effectively during peak periods. * Availability for rotating shifts (mornings for breakfast; afternoons/evenings for Skybar and events). * English proficiency is preferred (highly recommended in a hotel setting), as well as other languages.
