**Boluda Corporación Marítima – Senior Naval Mechanic** **Location:** Boluda Towage is seeking to hire a **Senior Naval Mechanic** for our tugboats at the **Huelva** base. This position plays an essential role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, guaranteeing the proper functioning of all onboard systems. **Main responsibilities:** * **Operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems**: Supervise, operate, and maintain the propulsion plant, generators, auxiliary systems, and other technical equipment aboard the tugboat. * **Technical management and regulatory compliance**: Ensure compliance with national and international regulations, as well as procedures outlined in the Management System (quality, environment, and occupational health and safety). * **Planning and execution of maintenance activities**: Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with the technical inspector, manage spare parts, and ensure vessel operational availability. * **Technical documentation control**: Keep departmental machinery records and certificates up to date and support technical inspections. **RESIDENCE IN HUELVA IS MANDATORY; this is not a campaign-based position.** **Job requirements:** * Qualification: Senior Naval Mechanic certified as Chief Engineer up to 6.000 kW * Certifications: Basic safety training, medical fitness certificate, initial sanitary training, non-rapid rescue boat operation, advanced fire-fighting training **About us:** Boluda Corporación Marítima traces its origins back to 1837 with the founding of Naviera Fos, a maritime transport company operating in Mediterranean ports.
