The Forklift Operator position is fundamental within the plant’s logistics chain, focusing on the safe and efficient handling of materials and waste. Key responsibilities include goods receipt, where loading and unloading operations are carried out for waste arriving at the facility. Upon receipt, precise identification and classification of materials follow, then preparation for subsequent storage or processing. All material entries and exits must be meticulously recorded to maintain an accurate and reliable inventory control system. Storage operations constitute a core task, requiring the use of a forklift to transport and place waste in designated warehouse areas, thereby optimizing available space and facilitating future retrieval. Additionally, in certain cases, material baling tasks will be performed to reduce volume and improve handling and transportation efficiency. Maintaining an orderly and safe work environment is essential, including regular cleaning of the operational area and proper placement of equipment and materials. This role demands strict adherence to established safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure both operator safety and the integrity of handled goods. Collaboration with other team members is vital to coordinate daily activities and achieve the organization’s productivity and quality objectives. The offered contract is full-time, with duration and terms compliant with current labor regulations. Salary is set according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement for the sector. Position commencement is immediate upon completion of the selection process. The workplace is located in Antequera, province of Málaga. A valid forklift operator license or diploma is an absolute requirement for this position. A minimum of one year’s experience operating forklifts in logistics warehouse environments is required. The minimum academic qualification is Compulsory Secondary Education. Practical knowledge of safe forklift operation and basic warehousing procedures is mandatory.
