Description

The operator will be responsible for handling and moving goods within logistics facilities. Their main duties include the safe transportation of materials from storage areas to loading points, using specialized equipment such as counterbalanced forklifts and electric pallet jacks. This role is essential to ensure smooth internal supply chain operations, optimizing loading and unloading times while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. Precision in operating machinery is critical to prevent damage to goods and ensure compliance with the company's safety protocols. In addition to material handling tasks, this position involves active participation in vehicle loading operations, including trucks and containers. This requires constant coordination with other members of the logistics team to verify orders, comply with packing lists, and ensure shipments depart according to schedule. The role demands a proactive attitude to maintain optimal working conditions and promptly report any operational or maintenance issues related to the machinery used. Performance in this position directly contributes to the productivity of the logistics center, serving as a key link in order preparation and inventory management. The ability to work under pressure during peak activity periods will be valued, always adhering to safety regulations and the company's internal quality procedures governing all warehouse operations. **Working hours are organized into two rotating shifts:** morning shift from 7:00 to 15:00 and afternoon shift from 15:00 to 23:00, requiring availability to occasionally work night shifts. The base salary is set at 13.96 euros per hour, with an additional night shift premium of 2.25 euros per hour worked during that shift. A personal vehicle is required for commuting, as the workplace lacks public transport coverage. It is mandatory to hold and present a valid and up-to-date forklift operator license. Demonstrable practical experience and proficiency in safely operating counterbalanced forklifts and electric pallet jacks within a logistics or industrial environment are required.
